  • Update 8/2/22 - We are happy to report that the current surface water temperature  is ranging between 61 and 65 degrees. Several conditions affect water temperature and it changes constantly. While Lake Superior water temps continue to be colder than normal for this time of year, temps have risen to be in the sixties which is suitable for this type of swim. To keep up to date with the most current data, please check here. 
  • Update 8/2/22 - There is still time for your family and friends to get their Spectator Cruise Tickets. Those interested can get their tickets here. 
  • The race instruction/safety meeting will be at 7 am at the Washington Beach area.
  • Personal Kayakers assisting non-competitive swimmers (for those who choose to have one) must attend the 6:30am Safety Team - Safety Meeting also at the Washington Beach area.

Recreation and Fitness Resources is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization rooted in beautiful Bayfield, WI.
