Sailing Classes, Programs, & Events
Learn to sail on Lake Superior with North Coast Community Sailing!
You can register online with a credit card, via mail with a check, or in person with cash or check. We do not accept credit cards at the office. To register via mail, please include a completed Registration Form with your check.
We do not have schedule or registration information available for the 2020 season. Please check back in April!
Join us for a week-long class on Lake Superior to learn the basics of sailing, including rigging, terminology, points of sail, boat handling, knot tying, and general seamanship. Our instructors ensure each student is challenged, regardless of ability or experience, in a fun, safe and encouraging environment.
We celebrate the week of fun and learning with a potluck picnic lunch, preceded by a sail-by to show off new skills. Parents and pirate costumes are encouraged on these days!
All 2020 classes are at West End Park in Washburn, WI on beautiful Chequamegon Bay.
