Point to La Pointe
Open Water Swim on Lake Superior - August 7, 2021
The 16th Annual Point to La Pointe Swim is on Saturday, August 7, 2021.
Registration for 2021 will open soon.
2021 Registration Fees
December 1-February 28 $140
March 1-April 30 $150
After May 1 $160
If the 2021 event has to be cancelled due to COVID-19, all registration fees, minus the online processing fee, will be refunded. RFR & the Bayfield Rec Center will not be keeping any of the registration dollars in this case.
In case of individual cancellation or event cancellation due to weather, there are no refunds, transfers, or credits. We recommend cancellation insurance.
Instead of paying the entry fee, you can sign up to raise $200 or more to support the Bayfield Rec Center and our aquatics programs including the Bay Area Swim Team. It's a great way to make a difference, support the swimmers of tomorrow, and pay for your race at the same time. All donations are tax deductible.
New in 2021! For those wishing to fundraise $200 instead of paying the registration fee, you can now register online with a new fundraising platform. It activates as soon as you register, which means you can start raising money immediately.
Age group winners (Men and Women ages 0-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+) are awarded a handmade Point to La Pointe mug from Eckels Pottery. Eckels Pottery generously donates the top prizes for the event.
