Point to La Pointe
Open Water Swim on Lake Superior - August 1, 2020
The 15th Annual Point to La Pointe Swim is on Saturday, August 7, 2021.
Registration for 2021 will open in September.
There is a waitlist for swimmers wishing to get into the 2020 Point to La Pointe Swim. If spots open up swimmers will be taken off the waitlist in the order they were put on it. Swimmers will only hear back from us if a spot opens up. The race roster is finalized two weeks before the race. To be placed on the waitlist email Brittany at firstname.lastname@example.org.

December 1-February 29 $150

There are no refunds, transfers, or credits.
Instead of paying the entry fee, you can sign up to raise $200 or more to support the Bayfield Rec Center and our aquatics programs including the Bay Area Swim Team. It's a great way to make a difference, support the swimmers of tomorrow, and pay for your race at the same time. All donations are tax deductible.
Swimmers who are raising money to cover their entry fee should NOT register online. Please contact us directly to register - email@example.com or 715-779-5408.
Age group winners (Men and Women ages 0-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+) are awarded a handmade Point to La Pointe mug from Eckels Pottery. Eckels Pottery generously donates the top prizes for the event.
Order a Commemorative Mug
Bring home your own handmade Point to La Pointe commemorative swim mug by ordering one in advance through Eckels Pottery.
Each mug is a hand-made, sturdy, stoneware mug and has the official Point to La Pointe label and year. Pre-order to pick up your mug the weekend of the race. Eckels is on the south edge of Bayfield on Highway 13. July 1 is the online order cut off date.
Eckels Pottery is a race sponsor and donates the over-all winner awards and the individual class winner mugs.”
